TUMS Ultra Strength 1000 antacid contains DOUBLE the acid neutralizing power per tablet of regular strength TUMS Ultra Strength Tums provides fast, effective relief from heartburn with 1,000 mg of calcium carbonate per tablet (equivalent to 400 mg of elemental calcium). Ultra Strength Tums neutralize acid on contact to help relieve heartburn symptoms. 72 Antacid Tablets Relieves acid indigestion & heartburn  Relieves sour stomach caused by excess stomach acidity Chew 1 to 2 tablets as needed. Do not take more than the recommended dose or for longer than 2 weeks. If symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks or recur, talk to your doctor. Maximum: Adults: 8 tablets/day. Pregnant women: 3 tablets/day.
