Vicks® VapoRub® ointment is a topical cough medicine with medicated vapours that work quickly to relieve your cough, nasal congestion, and muscle aches and pains due to colds.
Helps relieve:
On chest and throat, temporarily relieves cough due to common cold
On muscles and joints, temporarily relieves minor aches and pains
Medicinal Ingredients: Camphor 5.2%, Eucalyptus oil 1.2%, Menthol 2.8%
Non-medicinal Ingredients: Carbomer 954, cedarleaf oil, cetyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, cyclomethicone copolyol, dimethicone copolyol, dimethicone, EDTA, glycerin, imidazolidinyl urea, isopropyl palmitate, methylparaben, nutmeg oil, peg-100 stearate, propylparaben, purified water, sodium hydroxide, stearic acid, stearyl alcohol, thymol, titanium dioxide, turpentine oil
Warning: VapoRub is not likely to cause drowsiness or jittery side effects. Because VapoRub is a topical cough medicine, it may be appropriate for diabetics looking for an alternative to oral cough medicines that may contain sugar. Ask your doctor. DO NOT HEAT. Never expose VapoRub to flame, microwave, or place in any container in which you are heating water. Such improper use may cause the mixture to splatter and result in burns.

Directions: Adults and children 2 years and over: For cough suppression: Rub a thick layer on throat and chest, cover with a warm, dry cloth if desired, keep clothing loose about throat and chest to help vapors reach the nose and mouth, use up to three times daily or as directed by doctor. For muscle / joint minor aches and pains: Apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 2 years: do not use
