It can also help relieve allergy eye symptoms such as Itchy, watery eyes. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works in your nose to block the effects of substances that cause allergies (such as pollen, pet dander, dust mites, mold) and to reduce swelling. Medicinal Ingredients (per spray): fluticasone propionate 50mcg Non-medicinal Ingredients: benzalkonium chloride, dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, phenylethyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, and purified water.
Directions: Shake the bottle gently. Remove the green cap. Aim away from face and pump until fine mist appears.DO THIS WHEN: Starting a new bottle. Haven’t used it in a week. Just cleaned the nozzle. Blow nose gently to clear nostrils. Close one nostril and put tip of spray nozzle in the other nostril. While sniffing gently, press down on spray nozzle once or twice (according to dosing instructions). You’ll feel a light mist in your nose. Breathe out through your mouth. REPEAT IN OTHER NOSTRIL. Wipe spray nozzle with clean tissue and replace cap. FLONASE Allergy Relief should only be sprayed in the nose. Don’t spray it in the eyes or mouth. Keep out of reach of children.
