Malaria is a tropical disease caused by a parasite. The parasite is spread to humans through the bites of infected mosquitoes. Depending on the destination of your next trip and if malaria is present in the area you are visiting, certain measures should be taken to avoid contracting the disease.

Our pharmacists can assess whether malaria is present in the area you are visiting and give you advices on how to reduce your exposure to these mosquitoes and, depending on various conditions, prescribe treatment to prevent the disease.
