Voltaren Emulgel Extra Strength is specifically formulated to rub into the skin to relieve acute joint and muscle pain. The active substance, diclofenac, is one of a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that work in the body by blocking the production of particular substances, called prostaglandins, that are involved in the development of pain and inflammation.
Medicinal ingredient: Diclofenac diethylamine
Non-medicinal Ingredients: butylated hydroxytoluene,
carbomers, cocoyl caprylocaprate, diethylamine, isopropyl alcohol
isopropyl alcohol, kerosene oil, macrogol cetostearyl ether, oleyl alcohol
macrogol, oleyl alcohol, perfume, propylene glycol, purified water

Adults between 18 and 65 years: Apply 2 g of gel twice daily (morning and evening) to the painful area.
(1 g corresponds to a strip of about 2 cm in length)
